Writespace now offers two levels of exclusive memberships! Invest in your writing with a Fountain Pen membership, or invest in the Houston literary community with a Quill Pen membership. At both tiers, members-only benefits last one year from their purchase date.
Fountain Pen Membership
Our classic membership option! Fountain Pen memberships cost $60 per year and include the following benefits:
- Discounted pricing of between 25% and 35% on over 80 Writespace workshops.
- Discounted pricing of 15% on Writespace's flagship annual literary festival, Writefest and Writer's Family Reunion.
- Exclusive admission to Members Only First Page Feedback Sessions.
- Exclusive notification of new workshop postings two days before the general public and the chance to sign up before workshops sell out.
- Take five workshops during your membership year and receive one free three-hour workshop (to access this benefit, please email us the list of workshops you've taken).

- Member only field trips to Houston literary events.
- Free admission to Writespace community events.
- A free 3-hour workshop on us for your birthday! Email us to get your gift code during your birthday month.

- A personal consultation with membership coordinator Naveera Majid to talk writing, writing goals, and how Writespace can best support you.
Quill Pen Membership
We are proud to offer the Quill Pen membership, a tier that gives you the chance support not only your own writing, but that of a writer in need. Quill Pen memberships cost $150 per year and include the following benefits:
- All Fountain Pen membership benefits
- The opportunity to sponsor one three-hour workshop scholarship for a writer in need
