Kendra's Editing Style
Specialty Genres: Non-fiction, fiction (general, historical, literary)
Young Writers: No
I really enjoy developmental editing, in which I work closely with the author to help them strengthen and improve their writing. In doing developmental editing, I offer authors the tools and suggestions for them to make changes to their work through structural revision, additional research or adding information, word choices, character development, and more. I also like copyediting, in which I make suggestions and changes to the author’s work, smoothing out transitions, checking grammar, and editing for clarity.
