Why has Writespace paused programming?
With the resignation of our acting executive director, the Board is evaluating options for how to structure the organization in a continuing COVID environment.
How long with Writespace be “on pause?
We anticipate being paused through the second quarter of 2021.
What if I have registered for an upcoming workshop?
We will continue all workshops scheduled for March, pausing all those scheduled after March 31, 2021. If you have registered for a March workshop it will be held on schedule. If you have registered for any program, including The Artist’s Way or Beginning Fiction 1, that is scheduled for after March 31, your registration fee will be refunded.
How does this affect my membership?
Your membership will be extended by the length of the pause.
What if I wish to cancel my membership?
While we hope that you will continue to remain part of the Writespace family, we will provide prorated membership refunds if requested.
How can I keep up with the plans for Writespace?
The Board will continue to reach out to our faculty, volunteers, donors, members, and friends as we evaluate our plans moving forward. Please let us know if you have any suggestions or wishes for Writespace.
