Patrick Stockwell
Patrick Stockwell is an Inprint MD Anderson Foundation fellow and PhD candidate in fiction at the University of Houston. He holds an MFA from New Mexico State University and is the author of The Light Here Changes Everything, winner of the 2018 Clay Reynolds Novella Prize from Texas Review Press.
Jennifer Sperry Steinorth
Jennifer Sperry Steinorth’s books include Her Read, A Graphic Poem, recipient of Foreword Review's Bronze Prize for Poetry and A Wake with Nine Shades, both from Texas Review Press. Her poetry has recently appeared in Black Warrior Review, Cincinnati Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, Missouri Review, Pleiades, Plume, Rhino, and TriQuarterly. Born in Tulsa, raised in Texas, she is a lecturer in the University of Michigan Department of English and the Stamps School of Art and Design. Her interdisciplinary approach to language is drawn from years as a classical dancer and a decade in architectural design and construction.
Kartika Budhwar
Kartika Budhwar is a Senior Editor for the South Asian Avant-Garde (SAAG) Collective and Co-Editor for Ripe Fiction. She is a Writer in Residence for Writers in the Schools, Houston, and is pursuing her PhD in Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Houston. She was awarded Second place in the Arts and Letters Fiction Prize (2019), the Blue Mesa Nonfiction Prize (2019), and the Indiana Review Fiction Prize (2018); her prose and poetry appears in the same journals. She was also a Finalist for the Frank McCourt Memoir Prize (2019). She has received the Albert L. Walker Excellence in Literature Award (2020), the Research Excellence Award (2020), the Hogrefe Excellence Grant for Creative Writing (2018, 2019) and a Teaching Excellence Award (2018).
