Sarah Gajkowski-Hill
Sarah Gajkowski-Hill is a writer in Houston, where she attended the University of St. Thomas. She has published music, food and art reviews in Houston Press, CuiZine, 002Houston, ArtsHouston Magazine, and has published poetry in Dappled Things, The Clementine Journal, The Josephine Quarterly. She was anthologized in The Connoisseurs of Suffering: Poetry for the Journey to Meaning.
Her poem, "Another Ted Hughes" was a finalist for a Pushcart Award. Gajkowski-Hill curated a reading at Artique Gallery this past year called “Resiliency: Navigating the Pandemic Together.” She enjoys being an empty-nester with her husband, running a mix tape club and attending live concerts.

Lakshmi Sunder
Lakshmi Sunder (she/her) is a senior at the Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas with a concentration in creative writing. Lakshmi enjoys writing poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction about identity and dystopias that reflect reality. She has been recognized by the YoungArts Foundation, the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the Bennington Young Writers Awards, and The New York Times Learning Network. Lakshmi enjoys working with literary and activist initiatives like Apogee Journal, #TeenWritersProject, Diversify Our Narrative, and Girl Up. She is the president of Write On, a Houston-based organization that teaches free creative writing classes; Write On is currently partnering with Writespace on a workshop for young writers!
Outside of writing and writing-adjacent endeavors, Lakshmi enjoys going for runs (a love-hate relationship), playing piano, learning how to code, and spending time with her two cats.
